How do i start a jet ski that has been sitting for a while? - jet ski davit

I have a 85 foot jet ski Kawasaki. When I bought the engine and had only 9 hours working on it. The meeting was for a minimum of 5 years. I have to pay and tried to start it was a solid 1 of the spinning twice, but now I have a clicking sound you hear when you press the start button. Suggestions on what to do or check? This was meine 1 Jet-skiing, so I know little about them.
